No, it sucks. The process of shoplifting is atomic (you did it or you didn't), consistent (there's no more than one copy of the item(s) being shoplifted, and no rules saying you can't count it as shrinkage), isolated (person A shoplifting an apple does not affect person B's ability to shoplift another one, so long as A does so successfully), and durable (the item(s) shoplifted don't suddenly teleport back to the store).
