Thursday, October 4, 2007: Naked in school
Moderator:Æron
Yeah, here's the thing--Lately I've been doing things like punctuation with a different pen than the one I use for lettering. A slightly thinner one. (Yes, this is the sort of subject I'm often a nerd about.)Never had that dream before :O
Looks like he left a space for it.And a missing apostrophe
But I did expect that sooner or later it'd cause me to drop an apostrophe, thus committing an error I find extremely grating as a reader...and I think I knew in the back of my mind at least that once that happened, I really couldn't justify continuing to run that risk every day. I suppose I'll just have to start apostrophing (I have coined a word now!) with my lettering pen. It's the only way to be sure.
The 1906 Chicago Cubs and the 2001 Seattle Mariners jointly hold the record for wins in a single major league season, at 116.This just keeps getting weirder and weirder...
*Oh..and since DCS mentioned the 1906 Chicago cubs...thats it they are gonna win the World Series...we are all doomed.*
Neither team won the world series. As a Mariners fan, I found 2001 a bitterly, bitterly disappointing baseball year.
Apostrophizing?I suppose I'll just have to start apostrophing (I have coined a word now!) with my lettering pen.

Personally, I'm not sure why the "going to school naked" dream is so common in Millie's world when many of the students go to school naked anyway! Maybe it's an inbuilt sentient meme...
I've never had that dream either. But then, I've never gone to school, so that's not surprising.

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

Who? The only character I can think of who usually doesn't wear anything has never been seen at school. (I'm not counting Ernest.)many of the students go to school naked anyway!

Well, I remember at least one kid who hangs out with Jeremy wearing nothing but a baseball cap...and Ozy wears no pants, of course...and Avery...and Miz Sorkowitz. It obviously is nothing unusual.Who? The only character I can think of who usually doesn't wear anything has never been seen at school. Just put the apostrophes in first?

Dr. Wahnsinnig was still surprised to find that pants were optional. I get the vague feeling she was new to the school at the time of her introduction. Or is a time traveler from a earlier time.
Although, most of the adult characters I can think of wear pants or something so maybe its only optional for students.
Or maybe, just MAYBE, I'm devoting to much thought to this.

Timulty (well he doesn't go to school, but he's nekkid), Felicia...Well, I remember at least one kid who hangs out with Jeremy wearing nothing but a baseball cap...and Ozy wears no pants, of course...and Avery...and Miz Sorkowitz. Ooh, I guess I've sorta had the dream, but I was naked on a school trip, and I wasn't the only one!

Quite simply, Cameron, we go by different standards of "naked." Mine being no clothes whatsoever.

There's that feathery kid who shows up occasionally. I don't think he wears anything.Quite simply, Cameron, we go by different standards of "naked." Mine being no clothes whatsoever.
Zen Master Ikyoto said: "The world is vast and wide. Why, then, do you wear pants in which you could smuggle Volkswagens?"
