I think I share Ozy's stance on dreams.

Looks like DCS forgot to put a period in panel 3. Or did he? It wouldn't be unlike Millie to run at the mouth when thrilled, would it?

I dunno, Ozy. You think Felicia's id isn't as loose? Or Jeremy's? Hm, maybe if he's the self-suppressant gay I've suspected...

Wait, did Ozy just call Millie a <uncouth>promiscuous female of ill repute</uncouth>?

Edited for sensitivity.

Um.... What did you just say? :?

I don't think he did.

As far as lucid dreaming... it's usually fun to control the dream environment, as for normal dreaming, I just sit back and relax. Not that you really can relax any more than you already are when sleeping, but you get my drift.

Chris, when you say "weird visions of the future", are the visions things that actually come to pass after you have the dream?
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

I don't get the punchline =(
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Oh, I kept thinking I.D., like the fake one I used to get into clubs when I was seventeen.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

At first glance I thought Ozy was refering to the psychodynamics term "id," one of Freud's three divisions of the psyche. Basically Freud thought that everyone has an id, an unconscious part of the psyche that is responsible for all of our primative impulses (food, sex, survival, etc.) I think that was what theteague was so... eloquently refering to.

I often subconsciously manipulate and replay my dreams. I think I somehow manipulated a dream where the Joker was trying to tranquilize me... and all sorts of junk

without panels 1 and 4, you wouldnt think they were talking about dreams.

i rarely get lucid dreams, i do get incredibly scary incidences when i realize im dreaming and have tremendous difficulty forcing myself to wake up...
