I remember my older cousin got a really bad sunburn at one point, and I was like 8, he tore off a huge piece of skin and offered it to me. I didn't emerge from under my bed for several hours.

I did that once, but it was my mother to whom I offered it. I said it'd make a good addition to the chicken she was having.
