Millie seems to be attacking the world of prepackaged phrases.
Personally, I never shake a stick at anything in groups larger than twenty. Just to be on the safe side.

I was thinking the same thing but it's probably because 'though' doesn't fit"Tho."
Ozy... how could you?

If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5, NIV)

Yeah, he would have had to write in size four type or something.

I'm really liking this series!
Astro> gforce's smiles can cure cancer in kittensgforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

I'm very glad Ozy said "tho." I'm all for the acceptance of that spelling, which is half as long, does not get confused with "through" and similar words, and skips the awful "ugh."

That one rich guy, y'know Carnegie, wanted to reform the english language so it was more phoeneticized so "though" would be "tho" for example. But all the english professors laughed in his rich iron magnate face and told him that would be dumbing down the language. At which point he used his money to establish public libraries.

"Through" and "though" are some of the oddest spellings in the English language. They take four letters to make one sound, and half of them aren't even vowels! Eddie Izzard did a joke about it... he was like "T-H-R-U"... "Hey let's add an O in there" "Huh? Oh, all right" "And a G" "Wait, what?" "And an H" "OK now this is just ridiculous!"
They make sense if you look at where they came from. Compare the English spellings to the German ones:
through - durch
though - doch
You see the gh - ch pairs? That gh was originally pronounced as it was spelled, like a soft 'k' or 'g' sound, same as it still is in German.
