Funny Strip, Millie's irises freak me out

First time the close-up's gotten so close we can see the character's irises. The effect is rather creepy.

In this case, I've been getting her eye color wrong all thise time, and telling other people THEY got it wrong :/

I thought it was blue, but it's more of a cyan there.

At that time, they didn't even look like irises. But Monday's strip? Those are irises.
