I was gone for a week ^_^

I didn't get to post before I left but I came back yesterday from a canoe trip in the Adirondacks. Sixty-five miles of paddling and a little over five miles of portaging (carrying the canoes with full packs :-P )... And we still finished two days ahead of schedule o_O. We got to stay at the actual camp for the remaining days  . So yeah, heh. Oh yeah and the chipmunks were friendly.... Too friendly, they stole my bag of trail mix for the week (they didn't just chew a hole in it, they dragged off the entire bag!). Then back at camp they were jumping all over some people throughout the night (who knew they were that active?), one even started nibbling on someone's toe through their sleeping bag  .

How long was the trip supposed to be? 4 days? Any whitewater? What kind of canoes?

And yeah, portaging sucks.

No white water but some pretty large rocks to navigate around. It was originally supposed to be six days but we finished two days early (it was closing in at sunset however). They were kevlar canoes making them only about 35lb. but factor in full packs and a halve a mile of up hill portage they get quite heavy. We went from a place called Blue Mountain Lake all the way to another lake called Tupper Lake, where we were picked up at Bog River Falls at around 7PM Thursday night.

WB!!! :D
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

The chimpunks might try to replicate a scene from The Lost World.

You mean the scene where the T-rex eats the dog or the scene where the t-rex eats that paleontologist?

Is there a difference?
