Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

A picture speaks a thousand words, and I don't have time to type that many words out...

Wow. Incredible! If you are not doing so already, dude, if you don't mind me saying so, you seriously could make money selling some prints of this stuff. Great job! (sorry, not quite a thousand words, but it's as close as I'm going to get. How about fifty-three words? It's a start. )

-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

What do you mean? It's not a competition. :)

Is Sage quoting some song I've never heard? I'm confused...

Thanks for the praise. It makes me feel nice...

Anyway, the story here is that last week before I left on my trip, I hiked out with my Dad and took pictures of a whole bunch of our old ruins. These are way out in the middle of the woods-hippie/survivalist houses of some sort. This is the fancy one of the bunch. Most of the others are just glorified huts. They're all ruined now-this one above is absolutely covered with rat droppings inside and all the insulation has been ripped out and chewed up by said rats. So, I took about 100 pictures, many of which I plan to draw up like this one. That's my new non-comic project, tho in future I think I will actually use these as backgrounds for part of my comic...
Here's a quick scribble of a trapped hummingbird I found in one of the houses. I would have rescued the poor thing, but I don't know whether hummingbirds have lice or something. I don't think it turned out very well, because the color was purely experimental. But it seems quite poignant to me. I'll make a more finished one some other time.

Oh, hey, speaking of which--I've been thinking about painting a large poster or two. If I did, would any of you guys buy one? I wouldn't mark them up any above what Cafepress charges to print them--I'm not trying to make money right now--but does that sound interesting?

"Take On Me" by A-ha. It's an old song, but it's fun to listen to.

Yes. Me agrees with Tabris. Oh, and in response to your question about if we'd be interested in buying some of your stuff, I think it would be cool, but personally, I think it might be neat if you could, like, maybe stick it up on eBay and see how it does, and that way, we could all bid on it, and you could probably get a nice profit on it. And if it is successful, it might really take off, cuz you really have some serious talent. But it's your stuff. Do what ya want. Just my suggestions. All done now. Byebye. :)

Well, I wasn't planning on doing anything for money, but what can I say? I don't take much convincing. I'm looking in to it. (And you know with me, that means there'll probably be something by tomorrow or something, because I'm obsessed.) :) So, any opinions about selling venues? I don't really like ebay, but the setup for receiving money is easy, whereas Cafepress I have no idea. Just to think about.

At the moment, however, I'm still doing old house drawings. Only this one is more of a hut, really. :) It would be hard to live here, that's for sure.
