20 years old? That guy is a dying lupine!
Haha, well Lupines actually live as long as most people. I'll go into the specifics later on, but the "Warrior Stock" lupines that were grown for the war aged a lot slower than those born naturally afterwards. In effect, it wasn't uncommon for post-war ex-solider Lupine couples to have kids that were only two years younger than themselves.
The warrior-bred lupines live for on average, 80 years, which is the same as their naturally born offspring.
I like it.
One thing though: that smoke and those picket window thingies just look odd compared comic characters.
Now I don't know how all this digital art stuff works, but is it possible to surround everything in the background with small black lines, so that it doesn't contrast the characters or hand-drawn stuff too much?
The background isn't going to be like that in the comic, don't worry...that was just a quick thing I did to put them in context. The backgrounds are going to be "sketched" out with a graphic's tablet (when I get one) as this stuff would take too long to sketch, draw, ink, and colour manually.
I
was considering using a photograph of the location I want this picture to have been taken (outside the Air Canada Stadium with the CN Tower in the background) but I couldn't find one with the right angle...plus, they all had pictures of happy people in them, and when I draw it Toronto is going to be war-torn (sorry Niner)
