Women Vanish

Postby Tom Flapwell » Sun May 06, 2007 7:07 pm

I just read a Comcast headline: "Women Vanish, No Traces in 2 Weeks."

Am I rotten for imagining someone misinterpreting the headline to mean all women? "But -- but I just saw one a moment ago! Or was that a man in drag? Or a disguised alien?"

I'm not actually here, I'm just a ddreeeaaammm.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Shirts wouldn't be the only thing some men will burn in that situation.

Reminds me of earlier this week when the local newspaper said a girl was suspended from the junior high school for making bomb "treats." Best typo ever.

I prefer a typo about a delivery truck losing lots of "ground beef panties."
