After a while of...

Thinking how DCS gets his comic's lines so smooth I still had no idea how it was done... until last week. Ink and brush, ink and brush. I think I'll try this soon but I have other projects to work on like this:



Yep, ink, brush, AND pen. However this raises some questions... DCS said he can't make gray shades with ink unless he used a computer... I obviously did it without a computer, soooo......... This probably means he doesn't feel like spending a few extra minutes making the grays... even though they are very easy to make and apply.

Thats not a school yard. I was just standing in a park square looking for buildings to draw and saw this building back there so I drew and then inked.

This is what getting involved with my homework has done... I wasn't the first to say "snazzy".

Even so, if I can't do as good as the others, no A, and I'll be sent to a NORMAL school!!! Armstrong does NOT have what I want, I don't care if it IS thousands of dollars cheaper, I have no future there!

I'm going into game design, Armstrong does not have it and does not go into it deeply. I'm very sure the best I can get out of them is programming and thats not what I plan on doing. If thats all they teach about it, then what was the point in getting all this software!? If a school does not have it at all, HOW CAN I PERFECT IT!?

So I just have to ask, how exactly are you making those grays, then?

I get a round paint brush and dip it in water, dip the very tip in a tiny bit of ink, dip it in water again, apply on scratch sheet to get the value I want and then I apply more water if too dark, then I ink on the gray values.
