You know how Rommel had the nickname the Desert Fox?
Well, this is my take on that. (He looks too young though I think) And the scanner ate it, and made it way too light. Stupid Hewlett Packard.

I think the Desert foxes are fenecs and I don't recall them having any black ears. Speaking of which the fenecs have huge ears and a single color on them and are SMALL. They are the smallest foxes out there so if Rommel was controlling an army he would be quite small too  . I like the drawing too.

I know, I was thinking of making him a fennec, but I decided not to. Mainly because Rommel was European, so i made him a European red fox. If he were an Arab or African, I would've made him a fennec, but he wasn't native to the desert even with his "desert fox" title.

Looks nice. My HP lightens the scan too, even when I fiddle with it, so I can understand your frustrations.

Since they're clearly not fennec foxes I would say the largish ears they have is attributed to David's drawing style.

Neat! Though I have the same problems with my scanner. It certainly does suck sometimes.

Great drawing! I made that connection at Barnes & Noble a couple of weeks ago.

Even though I'm not a furry, I still make all these silly connections because of you people. :P
