Is it okay if I don't get the 'vacuuming' thing? Did he vacuum his fur out? Because that would hurt. D:
I think he's saying that vacuuming is one of the least grueling chores he ever gets, so his day isn't too bad despite the shearing.

I don't think we've ever seen him with morning fur before. It seems the fur that was under his pajamas looks no more or less ruffled.

As for "grey fox," I take it in the literal sense: a fox who is colored grey, regardless of exact species.

um... he calls him a northwestern gray zen fox. For those of you who can't tell, that doesn't exist. :P DCS put in the FAQ that he was an arctic, because that's the only animal that even looks like him. However, he seems to have revised that out of the FAQ since he switched to Keenspot.

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

In this strip

Ozy mentions his "arctic genes" himself, so I figure that would make him an arctic fox.

Love it.

But I thought Ozy was an arctic fox, not a gray fox.
Well, when the comic is in color, he looks grey. He is an artic fox, who is grey. Ozy can have more than one adjective.

Indeed. The Geneva convention permits an individual to use up to four personal adjectives. Of course, doing great deeds for society and/or the Adjective department enables you to use more.

I think when D.C. first created Ozy. Ozy was supost to be a gray wolf. Than when D.C. changed Ozy into a fox he just kept the color the same......I think. :?:

The way I heard it, he just drew Ozy. He always assumed he was a gray wolf, but his friend showed him pictures of an arctic fox and they matched Ozy perfectly.
