what if they were real?
Well, it would be more interesting to go into their world, though i don't think you could really call either option 'dull'

And as for the characters all having real life counterparts, that is very very true for me too.

I suspect that most people know the real 'popular girls' etc, but I know someone who has all the wrong ideas about life, and is a bad influence on their younger brother, but the younger brother manages not to be corrupted, and will probably turn out OK despite his brother's influence....
Hey, I'm the younger brother who turned out nothing like the older brother! If my brother (he's 5 yearls older than I am) and I were unrelated and were in high school together, we'd definately be in completely different social circles. I'd be the weirdo dork, he'd be the semi-popular prep. The strange thing is that despite our differences, my brother and I get along very well. It just comes from getting to know the other person well. Makes ya think about all the people at school you just dismiss as 'preppy,' 'shallow,' 'uninteresting,' etc. They just might have one tiny little facet to them that could help you become friends. I know this was off-topic, but it went with the last part of HuffaMoose's reply.

I think if we went into their world they would look at US weird. Well, maybe not. Millie's Mr. W. seems to be human. But still, going into their world would be wicked awesome.

Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
