I think the dark patches on the plane are actually sooty from the gun and exhaust. I like the camouflage on the plane. Why didn't they think of that before?

Like Don said, there's the dark bluish shading that's showing the boxiness of the plane, and there's the kind of brownish shading that's showing the dirtiness of the plane.
