I liked the Backstreet Boys when I was 14/15. Even went to a concert. *shrugs*

1. Counting Crows
2. Pearl Jam
3. The Cranberries

As you can see, I like a broad variety. None of which is pop-ish.
I fail to see how those bands aren't poppy.

The only one of the 3 bands I listed that comes close to pop is probably the Cranberries. And they are more of a light rock deal. Counting Crows is southern rock, and while some of their music is played on popular music stations, most of the stuff of theirs I like is never heard on the airwaves...and they still aren't true pop. Pearl Jam is nowhere close to pop...
