Thanks for the clarification, Chris. I won't ask about the specifics of your case, but as it happens, one of my Halloween viewings was The Others, which features another skin disease sensitive to the sun.

Just find a style (make your own or another artist) you like and then keep drawing until you can make what you want without stopping every second to rub out mistakes. That's what I did and still do.

Not really useful advice I admit but I hope it helps someway.
