Here's a tip:
GET A SCANNER.

Or get a tablet. Some of those fancy schmancy famous webcomic artists swear by 'em.

That's why God created lawn mowers, old people with arthritis and money, and old people's lawns.

Seriously, unless you're too young to legally do it, you can get a part-time job at least.

Google Preston Blair, ....

Hes a good artist to study from if you like classic cartoon style.

If you like more modern style...like X-Men Evolution style...try studying this guy.

Remember...once you learn the basics of drawing, cartooning is just *morphing* those basics into something that fits your needs.

Surf the net for what you need...im sure youll find something out there. Hope these tips help.

Ohhh! Thanks Rikirk!

Anyway, I hope DCS wont mind because I decided that im going to stick to his drawing style since its the only drawing style i liked because of the simplicity of his fox drawings, The only changes i made are:
(1) My fox drawings have full black ears (unless its an artic fox).
(2) Somewhat trimmed face fur (.....?).

...Still i hope he doesn't mind that i "somewhat" copied his style.

Dude, the only advice I can give you is to keep drawing in the style you feel comfortable with. Sooner or later it'll become your own. Heck, just look at some of my early stuff and you can see that it was just ripping off Dave. But I like to think I've got my own "style". Just happens that my style is that I've got no style.

I have a quick-and-dirty tutorial on drawing furries up on my deviantART, but I did a poor job of it (even by my standards at the time), and my style has evolved since then, so I should probably redo it sometime soon. I'd like to tackle such things as differences in species, different expressions, different poses, etc.

Blueblur lead me to this Tut LONG ago when I was starting, and it helped a lot.

Oh, and here's that Lovely little Tut Octan was talking about.

EDIT: the guy who made the first tut is actually very good, and made many others, just read his Journal o see what I mean.

1. Scanners have been around forever. I don't believe there isn't some way you can get one. I have one that's years and years old. Still works fine. Some online stores ship all over the world.

2. No, GOOD jobs are hard to get. I hear your local McD's needs someone to flip burgers. ;X Seriously, don't whine about not having the money to buy things if you aren't willing to put forward some effort to getting a job.

3. I will grant you this. See #2.

4. See #2. Also...
It's hard to research by initials, so please tell me what ED is.
American commercials and e-mail spam have conditioned me, so when I see "ED" I think of this (read url before you randomly click plz), but I'm guessing that's not it. This seems to be the only other medical-related ED that Wikipedia knows about.

1: As i said, Scanners have overkill prices here, heck i saw one scanner with a price tag around P40.000 to P100.000 but i dont know if theres a cheap one here.

2: I stopped at 4th grade (dont ask :-P) so finding a job is going to be hard >.>

3:.....
ROFL @ #4  oh yeah heres the "ED" im talking aboutClickey!
after reading that wikiarticle, you'll understand why i have a crappy life :-P
