does pixel art count?

a comic I have started ...it's supposed to be called "shvingy made me" because well, shvingy made me make a comic. I originally began making the sprites for a platformer style game, but gave up when I didn't feel like learning how to use gamemaker. I showed them to my friend Shvingy and he started making about as much as I made in my entirety as he made in a day or two, so now that school's started and I have time I made one. it sucks, no?

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Hehehe, cheap but <3

Also I think I'm probably the only other person here who knows who Shvingy is.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

LOL, interesting. I've always had mixed feelings toward sprite comics. Sometimes they're fun though. Good luck with it! (and welcome to the bandwagon, lol)

Not bad but I think you need to make them larger.

yeh I was thinking of making them 200% instead of 100%, I'll post both versions and see what.

Welcome to the bandwagon. I was going to wait to pimp my own comic until the first arc was finished, but I might just do it now. Meh.

Funny, in a rather strange, homicidal way.
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

I had a sprite comic once. I got bored with it when I realized that I personally was just aping a more successful comic. *COUGHbobandgeorgeUNCOUGH*

But this looks neat. How long did it take you to make?
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

pretty much, I take all the actual sprites off of a couple of files me and shvingy have compiled our stuff into, I'd say I spent about five-ten minutes peicing the sprites and making the backgrounds and fifteen making the text.

Dajoob is going through a period of being really really sucky right now. Does anybody know of a good webhost with no ads (no revenue-based ads, at least. I'm fine with a little "hosted by...") and a reasonable amount of space?
