You know me, most nights you'll find me on at some point in the evening. Though if you want my opinion, I think we should schedule it in a window timeframe, say, 6 PM to midnight Eastern time, however I'm open to other suggestions as well.

Ah, but setting it to one specific window will immediately alienate members from certain time zones where that window would be terribly inconvenient. This is why I'd like folks to find out when is good for them so we can all encourage each other to try to visit at those times.

my view (read: outdated) is that people are generally on from mid/late afternoon to a time between midnight and 2:00 -5 GMT, perhaps this could be a good template?

I'll be there kickbanning everyone.

Not really.

I guess.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Tavis, I'm probably going to make you an op for that weekend, since this was your idea.

Thanks, Arloest! I'll keep brushing up on the OP channel commands so I can use it responsibly... or something like that. :P

Thanks, Arloest! I'll keep brushing up on the OP channel commands so I can use it responsibly... or something like that. :P
"/mode #definecynical +v Tai" gives me voice

"/mode #definecynical +k Tai" kicks me D:

"/mode #definecynical +b Tai" bans me DD: (prevents me from joining...for effectiveness needs to be paired with a kick)

"/mode #definecynical +o Tai" gives me ops DDD:

"/mode #definecynical +h Tai" gives me halfop; I
won't be able to kick/deop other ops DDDD:

"/mode #definecynical +m" mutes the room, allowing only ops and people with +v to actually be heard in the room.

If you want to do more than one, add an extra command letter and name seperated by a space, e.g. "/mode #definecynical +bbbb Tai Tation Banana Isroddm", up to a max of 6 I think.

+k and +b break the room when used on me, so don't do that no matter what

(oh, now you guys are gonna temp-ban me next time I go on :P)

I'm good for Saturday, from about 6pm to about 11pm GMT, with a small break for me dinner.

Dunno what times that is for everyone else.

that's 1-6 EST. I think it should extend later than that in regards to our US and Canadian members.

I work on Saturdays, so I might need that to be extended earlier as well.
