Your art intrigues me. Tell me more of the ways of this... 'human'.
Furries? Are they the nutters that pretend to be animals and draw humans that look like animals? Christ, I sink my head into my paws... -Rooster

I draw humans all the time, more than furries lately.

In that case, DCS got a lot more confident by the advent of IDT. No, I buy the reasons DCS gave long ago: anthros are cute, fun to draw, less likely to offend, and useful for circumventing race and other human constructions.

I think it's pretty decent picture, and yes, there's a good point about furries, they're [generally] a lot more acceptive of other species and people who are off the beaten path, heheh.

Anthro's are fun to draw than humans because humans are so picky when it comes to races. example: just color your character brown and some people say "OMG! He's black!" something like that >_>

In short, Anthro's FTW! :-P

Yes... but half the characters I draw are supposed to be Were... so there also supposed to be human at times.... And If I ever get my Comic Idea started (and If I ever get enough confidence to...) These guys are gonna need to be humans.

BE. CONFIDENT.
WE. TRUST. YOU.

Really, if you want to start a webcomic, post 'em here! ^_^ If you're afraid it might suck to any or all degrees, just keep in mind that many great webcomics sucked before they got to where they are now. Take a look at Dana's page of the original Ozy and Millie strips...

How about if before I start drawing my own comic, I post the guest comic I'm drawing when I finish it. But before you answer, would I get at all banned or pwned for having a drawing refrence to Girls gone wild, but it shows No images?

Dude, don't fear drawing a cartoon strip.

Look at mine for flip's sake! It's hardly as good as most of the strips I read, but I care not. It's about the words and the story, not the art.

Do you mind if I print that out and staple it to my drafting table?

I agree, a comic is realy only about 25% art, the rest is storyline and humor.

I like the sentiment there, but I don't think it's really fair to say that. I mean, you can't just say it's not about the art. The art and writing really go hand in hand. I don't care how well written a comic is: if it looks like crap, it's really going to take away from the strip (not that anybody's work here looks like crap, I'm just saying for the sake of example). Comics are a visual medium for a reason after all.

And of course, comic art evolves the longer you do it. The more experience you have, the better you get. Look at most cartoonist's very first strips. They probably wont look all that great compared to what we typically associate with as their art style. Everybody just needs time to grow. So get that confidence going Niko! ^-^
