Wallpaper - Get Behind me Llewellyn

Postby osprey » Sat Aug 12, 2006 3:11 pm

Well, Blue Blur mentioned the most recent of Dana's art would make a good wallpaper, and I agreed. So here we have it: Get behind me Llewellyn! Image size is 1152x864.

Critique welcome!

With mild blur the way I like it:http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/no ... paper2.png

Blur-free version:

It seems a bit more blurred than the original version you made, why's that?

I usually add just a little touch of blur to things like this, as I find it makes it look a little softer around the edges. I dunno, my eye seems to prefer it. However, if you want a blur-free version, I could put one up.

yeah, if sharp edges are your problem try either anti-aliasing (for the font in that) or just blurring the edges...no need to blur things that don't need it
pants jesus
DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Nicely done! :)

I prefer the blur-free version myself.

Awesome! This is my new desktop. Thanks!
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

Thanks guys!

I have just always been a blurry person, lol. And be edges, I also mean the edges of the characters as well. Therefore, anti-aliasing and blurring the edges won't work. Anyhoo, whatever. :P

I actually preferred the blurred picture, but not enough to change my current desktop.
