Ok, I decided to branch out a little and Draw something new.

I had a dream last night involving my Anthroself. and it fit with the supposed story of my Anthro self. It's a bit long so bear with me...

After being bit by the Werewolvenfox and having my arm toren off, I was given a Bionic arm with claws and a restraining device so I could control my Wereself. I was diognosted to be half Werewolf, and half werefox, and was given the name, Wolvenfox. Strangly, Wolvenfoxs of the "non" were variety were Popping up everywhere for some reason. and no one knew why Wolves and Foxes were crossbreeding like this. What wasd even weirder was that the Wolvenfoxes could reproduce. There were some who Ended up dometicating some of the Wolvenfoxes and I went to adopt one. This is the one I adopted. I haven't decided on an actual name yet, but I want it to have something like "Silent kill"

And BTW, Most Wolvenfoxes have the Body structure of a Wolf, and the Coloration and tail of a Fox.

I actually myself think I'm getting better drawing heads, which is good. and this was my first time drawing a Mundane animal. I would have had it so that you could see the backlegs, but I couldn't figure out how to draw it.

Yeah, it seems like his face has been squashed vertically. The rest of him seems okay in comparison.

Here's my suggestion (aside from practicing often): start with the head, which is normally egg-shaped. The eyes should be about halfway from the top. The tip of the nose ends about a third of the way down from the eyes, and the mouth another third after the nose. Am I making sense, or is my explanation confusing?

It doesn't have to be exactly egg-shaped. After all, isn't Charlie Brown's head just a nice, round circle?

I think the more important bit is the proportion and placement of the parts of the face. Just keep trying and you'll be able to get it looking appreciably human eventually. Go on, just try, I know you can do it...

instead of an egg, try a circle, then add the outline for the jaw.

remember, the chin should point out, but not too much, and the nose shouldn't be too pointy.

you might also want to study how the body works, how it's structured, and, if your daring, the chemical compounds of the body, and where they are.

I felt great after I learned that.

I can understand studying the structure (which is what I'm doing right now, since I can't draw anything lower than the neck), but the chemical compounds? Why would I need that?

to have a greater understanding of how and why things work.

you don't need it, it just makes it easier if you know what it's made of.

Yeah, I've tried everything to make a circle with a line for the Jaw, but I can't make it look realistic. No matter what I try.

Heh, that's why to this day I still freehand everything. It's worked the most effective for me. Infact, commonly, I have more problems using figures.

Between their knowledge of bodies and their careful hands, surgeons should be the best artists. Too bad they don't allot enough time for it, blowing their lives on something trivial like surgery.
