I was thinking about all the old Disney movies that have been about animals or had anthropomorfic characters.

In the poll, I didn't include Mickey and the gang, because they arn't really "furry" to me. They are more human than animal in my opinion.

Others like Cinderella and Snow White, although they had animals and some anthros, they were not the focus of the story, so they were left out.

Winnie the Pooh was excluded because they are plushies, not animals.

My personal favorite has to be Robbin Hood. There is no better example of Anthropomorfic design in Disney animation. I have it on a VHS somewhere from when it premeired on TV. Great movie.

If I missed somehting you think should be on the list, click Other and say what I missed.

My favourite is Robin Hood as well. Not just because I like the style, but also because I like the story of Robin Hood for its political and ideological content.

I'm holding off on a vote for now, because it's REALLY hard for me to choose between The Lion King and Lady and the Tramp.

I tend to think of those two films as being two different senses of "classic," since they really came from two different Disney eras.

Random question,
What in the world is an instant classic? That makes no sense.

The Lion King gets my vote. It probably would have been Robin Hood, if I had the movie.

2 things:

1. I went with other because my favorite movie thats furry by Disney is the Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under. I think they count.

2. I'm opening a similair thread for the other studios, as my fav form all time is by MGM

There's also "The Aristocats," but probably no one will vote for it. And "The Sword in the Stone" does feature a good deal of animality, even if the main characters are naturally human.

Other: Rescuers Down Under, but Robin Hood is a very close second.

Really not sure.

Robin Hood is about the only version of that story I can watch.
Lion King is fantastic.
Aristocats is divinely wonderful.
The Jungle Book is wonderful, as well.
101 Dalmations, annoyingly and surreally, isn't actually as good as the tv series that was based on it...

And I'm tempted to say 'Teachers Pet'...

Also - I'd offer All Dogs Go To Heaven (or it's sequel), and the Secret of Nimh movie, but neither are Disney.

However, really not sure which is my favourite.

The Lion King had absolutely no human characters or influence in it at all, I loved it for that.

Unless you count Timon dancing the hula, or Zazu referring to a throw rug.
