Great strip, made me laugh

Ofcourse the question is where he got those emus in the first place.

I hope that was a much younger Llewellyn, back in his punk days. That's mean to both the people under the overpasses and the emus, assuming he used real ones.

For that matter, aren't emus sapient in O&M? It's like "Look out for that falling Italian" or something.

I'd question whether Llewellyn has ever really grown up, so I don't think it was his 'younger days'. And besides, he spent his youth in the 19th century and they didn't even have overpasses back then. ;)

In that case he probably built one specifically to throw emus off.

This seems kind of mean for Llewellyn. I hope it was a short overpass.

Yeah, like Millie's desire for a pony. Maybe it will be one of those things that will always be unexplained.

Well, you have to wonder if this is one of the "true" stories or one that Llewellyn makes up. Its really, really hard to tell with him.

Nah, it would have been mean if he didn't give the people warning.

Dropping emus off of overpasses is very obscure, but Llewellyn is just one of those characters who can do just about anything and have it make sense somehow.

He could mean-
EMU:
Any of various systems of units for electricity and magnetism based on a system of equations in which the permeability of free space is taken as unity and by means of which the abampere is defined as the fundamental unit of current.

I just now realised that Llwellyn is the only one who uses lower-case letters in his speach.
