I wonder what'll happen when Avery finds out he's a nerd and that Stephan isn't.

Stephan is a nerd just not one with ego restoration needs. Remember, he's the "alpha male of a new century"

Yay, Stephan! My respect for him is restored.

Truly, I would have little use for Wolverine if he were as popular in his world as Superman is in Metropolis.

*Gets a good chuckle out of the day's strip*

Aww, Stephan's leaving already? XP

I love Ozy's line at the end. Although, you know he has to be silently amused at all this.

I... have now become so obsessed with the X-Men...

Cyclops
Emma Frost
Beast
Shadowcat
Colossus
Wolverine
Nightcrawler
Bishop
Psylocke
Marvel Girl
Cannonball
Havok
Rogue
Iceman
Mystique
Professor X
Magneto
Jean Grey
Storm
Archangel
Gambit

There all so wonderful...

and the fact that nerds can like them because they are obressed by the rest of society is an A+ in my book!

Obressed Niko?

I never liked any of the stereotypical superheros
List of what I don't like:
Superman- Oh wow he's indestructable and never gets the short end of the stick. The government should have taken action. In the crossfire, so many people would die it drives big S insane and he kills them all.

Batman- Rich boy... SHOT HIM DAMNIT. He might have armor and crap, but he's not so fast you can't hit him in the face!

Spiderman- Never liked him.

Hulk- He's disgusting

X-Men- Mutants. Great. Whatever.

Fantastic 4- Really really corney.

Those are the only ones I can think of, so any others just were too boreing to get my attention.

What I do like:
Digimon. They're heros right?
PowerRangers. Who DIDN'T like them?
Megaman. He was a robot that wasn't all "Beep beep"-ish
Transformers. Again, who DIDN'T like them?
A few old cartoons. I don't remember the names, but they were good.

Jingoism is the best word ever.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the phrase "By the living jing!" (if you've heard that beforem you are already at the bonus level)

Me. At least until I learned to appreciate campiness. (I was 11 to 13 in their heyday.)

Jingoism is a phrase that means to increase the Nationalistic view on your contry.

contry
I'm enjoying this. =^.^=;

Let us speculate Avery's reactions?
I wonder which superheros he would like best? Maybe Superman for his Fame, or Batman for his money?

What you're not realizing is that those characters are all between thirty and seventy years old. Also, Superman was the original so his powers weren't boring.

Also, the Hulk's not really a hero, per se.

I think the superheroes discussed here are more the traditional comic book superheroes of DC and Marvel.

And poor Ozy.

Transformers, Megaman, and Digimon were all comic series.

Yes, Ozy is such a doormat.
