Miraculously, my grades are still A's and B's. This can't last!
DON"T JINX YOURSELF! you want to keep good grades, or at least keep a C average.
Yes, but by saying "This can't last!", I have unjinxed the jinx. If I had said "I am doing great!", then yes, that would have been a jinx. And I actually get pissy when I get Cs.
