Don't know where you got that from, but it's nonsense. The imperative mood as it's called is always just the single word in English. Just look at 'be' in that sense:The you is silent and/or assumed. So its technically "you go" in one word.
'Be there!'
It's obviously not 'you be' so how does that work, going with your theory?

That's the general idea, but it's not a requirement. According to Wikipedia a verb is all it needs:
