More breaking news - It seems a large ammount of fireworks have fallen on Bill Keane's (beloved creator of the Family Circus) house and have vaporized his body. Throngs of joyous citizens filled many American cities to celebrate the passing and ultimate cancellation of this hated and reviled comic strip as police called off the search for the assailants citing, "it would be an injustice to society to jail such a great person".

Bands of marauders wielding fire and rutabegas were seen heading towards Hank Ketchum's (Dennis the Menace, american version) house. Police laughed at Ketchum's pleas for protection.

So are "Hagar the Horrible", "Hi and Lois", "Beetle Bailey" (although that one is occasionaly funny), and of course "Garfield." However you made one critical error:

Hank Ketcham is already dead.
