Also if it had been done in PMs it would have likely devolved into some sort of coyote/rr slashfic

The roadrunner is a dyke.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

As I said, Jeff clearly fails at life if he thinks this thread should have been in PMs. >:(

I agree, It's not as funny if it's not in the open
Babies have big heads and big eyes, and tiny little bodies with tiny little arms and legs. So did the aliens at Roswell! I rest my case.

The roadrunner is a dyke.
I've sometimes wondered about the bird's gender. And indeed, if it is female, than she's not straight, judging from the femmy faux roadrunners that can lure her. But remember when the coyote looked up and saw that his prey wasn't falling?

Wile E.'s sign: "I wouldn't mind -- except that he defies the law of gravity!"

Roadrunner's sign: "Sure, but I never studied law!"

Notice that the roadrunner doesn't deny the appropriateness of the masculine pronoun.

Maybe s/he has the same complications as DCS!

I actually thought the roadrunner was invariably a girl until about 4 years ago when I saw that episode in which (s)he was attracted to that femmy faux, as you say.

However I can't really let go to the sentiment that the roadrunner's a chick.

He sent them word I had not gone
(We know it to be true):
If she should push the matter on,
What would become of you?

I bet the only reason why the roadrunner was officially decreed a guy was because it'd look bad if a male predator was chasing after a female prey in a (however wacky) attempt to maul and eat her. No wife beaters itt.

I somehow doubt they were that politically correct back then.

For instance, Pepe Le Pew.

My chemistry teacher makes references to Wile E. and Roadrunner all the time.

My old high school science teacher (had him 10th-12th grade, he was that good) had a running gag about carp. Every time the fish species would come up (and invaribly, it would several times a year) he had a funny way of pronouncing it.

Not as badass as my US History teacher who regularly bashes Fox news in the middle of a lecture.

That and the masculine-sounding beep. But seriously, Looney Tunes were female only when they had to be for the character to make sense. Even cute and petite ones like Tweety were usually male.

One reason I like the Tiny Toons better: nearly equal gender ratio.

Growing up, I had a minor crush on Babs Bunny.

Still do, kinda.
