In case you guys haven't noticed, you're pretty much the test audience for everything I make. You see things before anyone else (family included) does. So here's my latest project. It's kind of an avante-garde graphic novel about friendship, life, and tradition. It's called And He Brake Tradition. You can see why I call it avante-garde by looking at the first page I just finished:

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

I'd have to agree. You may as well write a novella and provide the occasional illustration.After several pages of that without even a single momentary change of view, and I'd honestly start wondering why you didn't just do that as prose. I think it might work if you're careful and crafty enough with it, though.
I actually have a number of reason why it I would not want to do it as a prose novel. Here they are:
1. I hate writing prose.
2. It wouldn't be a novel anyway, it would be a play, with nothing but dialog and the occasional stage direction. But that's boring and I'm not interested in theater.
3. The whole idea was created specifically for this graphic novel concept. I want the repetitive feeling of static motion and timelessness you get from having pages of similar panels.
Though I want to emphasize that I don't plan on having more than three pages without a change of some kind.
I'll be posting more pages as I make them. Maybe you'll warm to the idea. (Or not.)

Here's the next four pages. Helpful hint: when these guys talk about "tradition" they refer to a strange hodgepodge of customs, instincts, and general knowledge.

That's just a myth, I understand. And they're groundhogs (or prairie dogs-they look very similar.)Are they lemmings?
