What I need to do is establish the perspective by identifying the horizon line, vanishing points, and 3 point linear perspective. Once I get the points identified I can draw a reference square that will outline the boundary where the character will reside. I then use perspective when creating a stick figure inside the prism and then I gesture draw it and then cloth/draw the figure within the prism. And there you have it, a character that 100% obeys perspective and just looks plain cool. The extreme foreshortening of the character makes for an interesting composition... as long as I utilize the Design Elements and Principles to strengthen my scene

Must be sure that the balance of the scene is interesting as well as emphasize the point... blegh, you guys don't need to know this complicated design stuff just yet. Just keep in mind that I often have to keep these in mind from now on.
