try drawing the human figure, then modify it.

work on the big details, then go down to the smaller ones.

try putting long, sweeping wrinkles into the cloak, and, for my eyes' sake, make the trunk thinner .

Pretty much you just summed up what everyone on AN said in one post, and I'll say the same thing here, I. Am. Working. On. It.

As it goes for the Proprtions being off, that seems to be the biggest thing everyone who criticizes me is concerned about. Here's an idea though: Send me an explanation on how to adjust that by what you exactly mean.

As it goes for the Wrists and arm lengths, I admit my anthroversion had very tiny arms, and I'm deffinetly going to redraw myself (Cause I need to find use for the rest of the stuff I mugged from Vincent ) and your actually the first person/tutorial to say where the Wrists and elbows should go.

Legs are at least as long as the trunk right? I think I actually get pretty close when I draw my legs most of the time, I may need to lengthen them a little more, but I think I come pretty darn close already.

to me, Wrinkles = Hell in Madison Avenue. I know nothing of how and where to put wrinkles. People are saying, "Study clothing dynamics" but lemme tell ya, I have a hard enough time trying to "Study" clothing dynamics without getting weird looks.

For your eyes sake, make the trunk thinner? Maker the trunk THINNER?! Oi...wha you want me to look like a Pencil?

Proportions is the relation of length, size, and width, between things.

at least, that's what I undersstand of it .

Thanks for the advice . As long as I am posting I have a bit of a delima. I've been trying to show some of my artwork on this forum, but the BBCode won't let me debue it unless it's already on the internet. Any suggestions on where I could put it?

Lazy man's Coloring Job to follow.



This is Just basic, cause Before I color this for real, I need your input on how I can make this better.

I want:

1) Someone to tell me how to make the feet look more Realistic

2) someone to tell me how I can make the Cape and Left Jacket sleeve look more realisticly Tattered.

3) someone to tell me how to make the Left arm from the Elbow to Fingers look more Metalic

4) someone to tell me how to make the Gun look more Realistic

5) if someone could show me a stratagy to making Wrinkle and crease lines in Clothing, that's be much appreciated.

and if anyone knows anything else that'd help make this look WAY better, It'd be appreciated.

I'm not sure if this will help, but whenever I need to make something look more realistic it's always good to look at pictures drawn by others, who have done it very well, study their technique. Figure out how they did it and try to use some of the same guide lines, so it's not exactly copying.

...that could work... considering my Anthroself is kinda like a cross between this and this.

anyone else got some input to help? Especially with making the Gun and arm more realistic.

In the Mean time... I must now Jump for joy as I was able to Order FFVII which will be shipped this friday, FFVII Advent Children which will ARRIVE this Friday, and I got to Preorder Dirge of Cerberus. I will be busy for a while.
