Er, that's more the Christian outlook. While orthodox Catholicism also follows that closely (not exactly), there are sects (like Irish Catholic) whom disagree with some of the fundamentals. (I've even heard priests call certain edicts some rather nasty terms in their sermons). My family, and many other Irish Catholics believe that it is simply your actions that you must justify in this world, faith be damned (har har). Why would something you believe, something that exists strictly in your mind, change what outcome there is if there is something to answer to once we jump off this mortal coil? But I digress =P
