Not only my oldest hand held, but the ONLY hand held I own. (At least it still works and I can still play my games on it...Meaning it still works!)
Do you own a Gameboy?

Oldest? Game Gear. Then Gameboy Pocket, and then color, and then DS.
Lulz. I loved my (brother's) game gear. I think we still have it actually, like in my basement. I don't think he took it after all.

[00:34:00] <Dermy> I do love to manipulate the standard rules of language for opportunistic effect
[00:34:06] <Dermy> Like a grammar hyena, I am
[00:34:16] <Dermy> Munching on the tasty entrails of tradition
[22:26:20] <MuffinSticks> I'm a chocolate muffin with white ears and a striped black and red tail
[22:26:35] <MuffinSticks> And exactly 6 chips
My DA account, for those who care enough to look/click/etc.
And my FA account as well!

Most likely. I never owned an original gameboy, but I know enough people that do. One thing that always bugged my about it (other than its mastodonic size) was the fact that you could change the contrast. I see no point in making its already difficult to see screen ever more impossible to see, or simply uglier. He must have confused "puce" with "puke."
As for the oldest handheld I own...sadly, the DS. Ive owned almost every nintendo handheld, but they all end up getting lost or broken one way or another. Its not like I use my DS at all though; not with the way nintendo is heading with their games. The most I used it for was Pokemon D/P, but I sold that to get some xbox 360 games.

The DS has tons of fantastic games. Certainly way more than the Wii.As for the oldest handheld I own...sadly, the DS. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5, NIV)

It does have a lot of good games, but Ive played most of them. The ratio is going down with the wii though, but in a more on-the-go teaching way, such as 'my stop smoking coach' and math tutors. There is definitely a few games I still want to try though (for both DS and wii), but it may be a while before I pull my full attention back to nintendo. The DS has tons of fantastic games.
