Fact: The book Fahrenheit 451 was originally published in Playboy as a short story entitled The Fireman.

Actually I've just read another story that was published in Playboy and I found out it was quite good (It wasn't IN a Playboy magazine when I read it ).

Fact: Abercrombie and Fitch was once a outdoorsmen store that sold very good quality clothes for hunting fishing, those tweed jackets, field coats, and.... Heres the big one... Guns! It was actually better quality than L.L Bean until about 15 years ago when they started doing all that crappy over priced stuff. It was more waspy when it started than it is now.

Fact: The very first thing to be said over the telephone was, "Come here Watson, I want you." This was said by Bell just after spilling battery acid on his lap and asking for his assistant Watson.

Fact: The San Francisco Bay Bridge was a project not commissioned by the U.S government. It was actually ordered to be built by an insane but not dangerous man called Norton I "Emperor of the United States". Everyone didn't really mind him and he was actually a pretty nice guy. People actually took his orders nicely because they got a real kick out of it. They even let him go on his weekly inspections of the city. And people actually saluted him. When he died people were actually pretty sad and he got a real nice funeral (ah Weird U.S, you never fail!).

Fact: The name "Wendy" was created specifically for the book "Peter Pan". There is no recorded use of the name prior to that.
