Err, last time I checked, the French were on our side in WW1 and didn't surrender once.<br><br>And in WW2, the Free-French units were some of the best bloody fighters we had. They broke the line a Monte Casino where the UK and US had failed on previous occasions.<br><br>And during the Battle of the Somme in 1916, the French units were the <b>only</b> units to acheive their objectives.<br><br><br>Sorry, I'm a military history buff, and I won't hear a bad word against the French. <br><br>Militarilly that is <!--emo&:wag:--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... ailwag.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tailwag.gif' /><!--endemo-->
