I listen mainly to music I get off the Furry Music Foundation but the songs I get are mainly by 2.
My playlist has everything from black MEHTUL, mainstreamish MEHTUL, dark rock, industrial, ambient, atmospheric industrial, electronic industrial, indie, classic rock, grunge, techno rock, classic industrial, and goth techno. I ABSOLUTELY can't stand rap, country, or this emo rock and numetal crap (Linkin Park, Evanescence, etc.) I'm sure I offended some people by saying that, and I frankly don't care what other people think of my opinions.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

Let's just say folk (political/irish/trad.) and blues (acoustic mostly) with a little dose of rock. Though rock is very broad, i'm not that interested in most of it.

I look out for good lyrics, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan. But folk and blues constitute the majority of my collection.
Alice Cooper
In Flames
Iron Maiden
The Kovenant

I like to listen to a few hundred different artists, but these may define my tastes the best.

edit: and now, because I'm bored, I will list band you guys have mentioned that are also on my playlist

David Simpson
Fear Factory
From Autumn To Ashes
John Lennon
Mike Oldfield
R.E.M.
The Beatles
A Perfect Circle
Alice In Chains
Deftones
Dimmu Borgir
Faith No More
Led Zeppelin
Megadeth
Metallica
Pantera
Pink Floyd
Rammstein
System Of A Down
Tool
VNV Nation
The Offspring
Queen
Smashing Pumpkins
The White Stripes
Zeromancer
I absolutely, positively DO NOT go by genres. I simply like what I like.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
