Megaman X2 WR run.

Postby Foxchild » Wed Sep 09, 2009 3:43 pm

Random self-promoting, but I'm proud of this~!

About to have a speed run verified as the fastest 100% completion of Megaman X2 according to TwinGalaxies. Already have the TwinGalaxies record for Megaman X1.

100% completion (all weapons and items) of X2 in 54:14

The difference between TwinGalaxies versus something like SpeedRunDemons is that TwinGalaxies does not allow for use of glitches in the games to improve time (or at all, but using a glitch in a speed run to do anything other than improve your time seems silly).

It'll still probably be a month out before the actual verification is complete, though :crycry:

Hope there's someone nerdy enough to understand and appreciate this :ninja: :locke:

Nice job! I've always been a fan of watching speed runs of games I like. Sometimes they give me ideas of how to play the games more efficiently, which is always a plus.

Here's to hoping you get verified without problems!

very nice! I think it's awesome that you have the X1 run as well. I LOVE Megaman X, and had to buy it when I saw it available at a local store once.

totally worth the $20 at the time. Still is today.
