Actually, I'm really liking the latest drawing. Let me explain...
I've always had a soft spot for styles that deliberately avoid proper proportions (though not ALL examples of this). Even if your aim here wasn't that, it's how it came out. Sure the drawing isn't like David's, but that's no reason to say it's bad. Personally my style uses thick necks, so that little critique isn't one I could have said because I like using thicker necks. With a little tweaking, making it cleaner, this will be a very nice picture in my eyes.
how exactly do u mean by 'making it cleaner'? like, neater lines/colouring?

anyway here's a new pic...im starting to practise different poses now...

comments/critique plz :)

Goog good, but can you make the eyes a bit closer to the forehead? Also I don't think Millie was that fat so change the overalls a little, especially the pants sleeve. For the table, you could have just used a ruler or a line tool. It's simpler that way.8

yea, since these are 'quick' drawings, i dont do the outlines so precisely. if i spent another 10mins on it, it'd look smooth, but for the purposes of showing the 'structure' of the drawing, i didnt think i needed ultra-smooth outlines

That's almost cuter than the way DCS draws Millie now./

ok...ive started to work on a 'fursona' of myself, and this is what i have so far...

Image

i was thinking that the base colour be white/grey (think ozy style), but since i have red hair in real life, i wanted to include that somehow. either i want to add some red hair millie-style (but obviously in a guy's way i.e. without the ponytail) or else if that doesnt look good, ill make the fur colour red...

i want to make this look good, so thats why im asking for advice  plz help me out, wat should i go for?

Though I'd hate to break it to you, but it looks a tad bit like mine. The jacket and jeans thing. Why don't you look up the real things and observe their colors. They come in quite alot of variations, especially the "Cross" Variety..

errr i dont know which one is yours, unless its the one in your avatar...?

if you want me to change it, i can...(if you dont want mine to be too similar)

and also...my main question was whether to add some hair to the drawing, or stick with this general design?

...say what?

the clothing colours arent definite. mainly im asking whether the one with hair looks better, as good as, or worse than one without the added hair.3
