Re: Monday, January 8, 2001: Where's Stephan?
I cannot help but be reminded of an old Irish joke:
Two men are about to be visited by their hated landlord so he can collect their rent. They decide that, instead of paying their landlord, they would do him in, so they await him with their shillelaghs at the ready. The landlord fails to arrive at the expected time, so the men sit and talk for a while, and hours later, the landlord still hasn't arrived. They wait until finally it is evening, and no sign of the landlord. One man turns to the other and asks in a worried voice, "You don't suppose something might have happened to him?"
