The 'counterpicketing' story arc. Hoo boy.

So, um... that last panel portrays the KKK apparently engaged in non-violent protest, with signs and slogans, but we're supposed to agree with Llewellyn immolating them to get them to shut up? I imagine that wasn't DCS's intention, but...

We don't really know how non-violent they are, just that they have signs. Plus they deserve it.

Unfortunately the truth is that those who demand civil rights for themselves are most often those who would deny them to others. The worst hatemongers in the world are not the Ku Klux Klan.

I'm really not certain exactly what you're trying to say here.
I'm referring to a particular religious group where getting stoned is not a reference to using drugs.

I don't think extremely conservative Muslims in theocracies spend alot of time fighting for civil rights. National rights maybe.
