...what.

No. I am not seeing DCS use a school uniform storyline to springboard into another story about how McCarthy Was Evil. That doesn't make any sense. None. No.

Another? When was the first?

And the springboard was the remark about individuality which makes sense but I think it would work better in a less politically charged setting in the past. However this is Ozy and Millie - expect politics.

It's a political joke, but it's not necessarily going to offend anyone. Thought it would have worked far better if the comic were in color.

Apologies, I mean 'springboard into another story, about how McCarthy Was Evil'. That we just went from 'school uniforms are somewhat annoying but apparently mitigate bullying' to 'Llewellyn was tracked down and branded as a communist by McCarthy!' Just what.

Llewellyn telling a wacky irrelevant story!?!? Dear me, I am so shocked I believe my monocle has fallen into this glass of champagne I happen to be holding.

How old is Llewellyn supposed to be, anyway? If he lived in the Middle Ages, he would have been raised with the idea of serfdom and lords and the divine right of kings. He would certainly view ideologies as akin to fads. It would explain his tendency not to take life seriously.

It's just that occasional offbeat storytelling that ends up diverging and being broken by random shifts into seemingly unrelated events and places that I think contributed to why a lot of people like Ozy and Millie. It's a way of writing that has fans and not, just like every other type I'd say. You must have realised this as a staple of the comic by now.

His childhood has been shown to be in Victorian times.
