I would say something inane and nitpicky about this concept but I can't stop staring at Millie's soulless eyes in the last panel. She's on something.

Oh god, now I can't unsee it...
Two consecutive strips with references to cassettes. At the time I think I still listened to them, in the car; as I write this I can't even remember the last time I listened to a cassette. So, let's observe a moment of silence for technologies past.

The comics are completely different except that they address laugh tracks.
