I guess they needed Stephan to be there to explain the technology stuff. Boy, won't they all feel silly when civilization collapses on itself in a couple of days! At least they'll have popcorn.

I sincerely like this one. My only question is how she got the TV in there without Ms. Mudd noticing.

This is not actually a line from any episode of "The Simpsons." So if you see it at some future point, you'll know they ripped off my little homage.

Why would Mrs Mudd care that she put a TV in there?

I'm just saying that she didn't notice, not necessarily that she would have particularly cared. Although she should, because even if it's a smaller TV (half of Millie's height, judging by the pictures), it would still be rather heavy-- too heavy for an eight-year-old girl to be able to move on her own, especially since the TV started out elevated on a stand of some sort, so it wouldn't just be a matter of pushing it somewhere.

Which is, I think, sufficient excuse to have Millie tested for super-strength.

Decades ago, there existed small portable televisions equipped with rechargeable batteries, and they were lightweight enough for a child to pick up and carry around. They had pretty small screens though.

I actually had one of those myself, and I did consider that, but look at the size of the television in the fort. That's not a portable TV.

Its not like Mrs Mudd ever stifles Millie's imagination or fun. She probably put that in there herself.
