This is DCS being secretly jealous of rich people.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Stephen's entire point as a character was that DCS was jealous of rich geeks.
I actually like the way the kids look in their uniforms. Although it would mean fewer pants jokes.I miss the geeks-shall-inherit-the-earth triumphalism of the dotcom boom era. I never thought I would, but it gave me a lot of material for Stephan; he's a lot harder to write for, without that.

Stephan has a point. In a way he is actually like Millie but more upfront about his motives. He wants to be cool but by rebelling against what is popular.
