"Wahnsinnig" is German for "insane." But a lot of readers who didn't speak German assumed the name "Dr. I Wahnsinnig" was some sort of anagram, and expended no small mental energy on trying to puzzle it out.

Dr. Wahnsinnig, of course is not crazy. She's an ally in a position of authority. I guess I though there should be some; portraying the entire school establishment as evil and clueless is a bit too simplistic.

The music teacher zebra isn't bad either. I guess. He never really does anything.
