I remember that my PE classes in elementary school were basically tee-ball, kickball, and Capture the Flag. Middle school was all relatively normal sports, and high school was working on the Presidential Fitness thingywhatsis, a little bit of soccer and football, and then table tennis, volleyball, and bombardment (indoor mass dodgeball).
Heh. I've honestly never been a fan of PE (I live down south in the US, so it was just plain hot most of the time), but in retrospect, it was pretty fun.

Primary school PE for me consisted of cones, rubber balls, plastic hockey sticks and quoits. Yay.
High school PE, unfortunately, was often football or rugby in the freezing cold, or cross-country running in the middle of winter, the closest thing to torture allowed in the state school system. Badminton is fun though (I am such a girly man).

If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5, NIV)

You all have to keep in mind that DCS is older than us (although, I don't really know HOW old) and that this comic is twelve years old :P
But yes, PE wasn't like this for me. Especially since I'm a girl. Also, we had split-sex PE classes at some point at one of the many schools I went to.
I liked badminton too, Nick. c:

EVERYTHING THAT DCS PUTS IN HIS COMIC, I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO RELATE TO IT OR ELSE HE IS MAKING IT UP ENTIRELY AND IS A LIAR.

Hello!
As someone from another generation (sort of) and from a different country I can recall (only just) playing "Murderball" which is like Rugby but with less rules (get ball from here to there, go!) and I recall we did a beep test (run between this point and this point before beep goes again) and at times the teacher would fast forward the tape.

I don't think he is lying, I just think his perceptions of reality are very confused.

Oh and on a related topic;
Re: Tuesday, June 9, 1998: P.E. class
We used to play dodgeball with medicine balls. So many lost teeth...

Badmintoners unite! I like that a lot too. When I heard there was a chance to sign up for sports activities during lunch time and badminton was one of the options I took it, even though I'm not really into sports. Just that and swimming.I liked badminton too, Nick. c:
Football (and by that I mean soccer), a simplified version of cricket, swimming, various gymnastics and endurance type challenges like climbing rope have been the main culprits of most classes for me.

I was on the swim team for three years.
I wish we had a pantsless badminton team. That would be badass. I'd so join it.

I wouldn't mind a shirtless volleyball team either.
Re: Tuesday, June 9, 1998: P.E. class
We used to play Football, Rugby, Cricket, Rounders, Basketball, that sort of stuff....nothing too violent or anything. Can't even play Rugby in schools now though since some kid got his neck broken down south. Major lamage.

It's badminton in shorts, guys. They're comfy and easy to wear.I was on the swim team for three years.
