Considering that Llewellyn is so large and easy to spot, and his coming over has caused quite a commotion, why wouldn't Dr. Wahnsinnig already know about his presence?

My theory, that I just made up just now, is that Dr. Wahnsinnig was hired relatively recently and missed the PTA meeting that Llewellyn showed up for. And I guess Ozy's records wouldn't have had much information other than a name and contact information for Llewellyn.

I think Ozy is aware that his family is unusual only because he's seen how people react when he describes it. They say you accept your home life, however odd it is, as "normal," when you're young, because you have nothing to compare it to. But Ozy seems to be some idea.
