I think lines from the O&M strip were edited into the Calvin and Hobbes strip. I would expect Bill Watterson to have the good sense to not to try to write the raspberry sound out in a comic. It just never works.

Yeah, that was an edit. Watterson also has the ability to draw people in appropriate stances for what they're saying; you'll see that the dialogue doesn't really match up to the motions that Calvin or Hobbes are making.

I'd like to see that strip unedited. I'd search for it myself, but that's quite a lot of Calvin and Hobbes to go through and I'll probably forget what I'm doing about ten strips in. >.>

I mean the gag has C&H written all over it but I doubt it's actually verbatim a C&H strip you know

I was pleasantly surprised the one of the first results for "calvin and hobbes desk" had half decent poses to be used.
